Aspasia was launched in 2001 and was the first fully web based and totally integrated solution for agents in the UK involved in residential sales, lettings and/or property management.  Over the years Aspasia has continually been developed and has accrued a reputation for being a powerful and reliable solution for agencies of all sizes. Traditional Aspasia is still in production and will continue to be available and fully supported.

There is now, however, a seismic shift under way referred to as cloud computing that is changing the expectations of users across the world away from the traditional desktop computing environment.  Whilst some use the term cloud computing to refer to any software fully delivered via the Internet most people now use the terms to describe not just that but the full integration of a host of web services suited to the pursuit of an activity like residential property sales, lettings and management.  It was the realisation of this fact that led to the formation of a totally new product from the same stable and called Aspasia Cloud.

Aspasia Cloud is still part of the same family and benefits from the well proven database architecture utilised by the traditional version of Aspasia but in all other respects is quite different.  From its new graphical interface, improved security, the ability to be used from any browser on any Internet connected device to being fully integrated with Google Apps.  It is also designed to fit better with the new generation of customers raised in a totally different computing environment and having quite different expectations not least in terms of levels of service made possible by the new digital age.

Due to the sheer amount of re-engineering required to adapt to this new environment, the introduction of Aspasia Cloud is being phased in over a 12/18 month period.  The first release is now in beta testing and will be available soon for customers involved in front of house sales and lettings.  We plan to have a full version covering everything included in the original version of Aspasia and much more before the end of the year.  Some of the totally different aspects of handling traditional agency activities involved with Aspasia Cloud demand a more thorough level of conceptual and beta testing than might otherwise have been the case.  This site will detail these new features arising from the adoption of a true cloud computing environment as we move through the different releases.
