Mobile Phones

One of the more exciting aspects of Aspasia Cloud is its ability to run in a standard browser on a smart phone (or any other mobile phone that can run a browser). Moreover, we are not just talking about access to email, contacts or the diary but to the whole software package.  Nor is it just a cut down or customised "app" like you get with with the iPhone or Android phones - it is the real deal - the full Aspasia Cloud software solution. Naturally you wouldn't use a smart phone as your main computing device but it is very workable for those occasions where use on a mobile phone is more appropriate like perhaps on a customer site. Needless to say this opens up many new opportunities.

Additionally, it is possible to sync virtually any mobile phone's email, contacts and calendar with Aspasia Cloud and there are specific syncs for Blackberry, Nokia, iPhone and Windows Mobile Devices.  Even better, if you have a mobile phone running Google's Android operating system the synchronisation process is extremely slick as you would expect between the mobile device and Google Apps which are integrated within Aspasia Cloud.  It is also possible to sync with Microsoft Outlook running on a desktop PC.

Using Aspasia Cloud on Google's new Nexus One mobile phone is even better still.  Not only does it have a stunning screen resolution but it is very fast in comparison with most other phones, it can multitask and most importantly it has really effective voice recognition software. This means of course that you can dictate straight into the data input fields within Aspasia Cloud or any other textual input screen.  As you would expect it is not infallible but works very well for most of the time even if you do need to go back and manually overtype the odd word or two.  It doesn't need much imagination to visualise the uses this can have for an estate or lettings agent.
