Basics

Look and Feel

Aspasia Cloud has a totally different look and feel to the original version of Aspasia. We believe it has a more modern, attractive and easier to use interface making it more intuitive and visually attractive.

Improved Security

Although Aspasia's data has never been compromised in it's entire history, we have now taken extra steps to secure our customer's information. Being built within a different framework the security aspects of Aspasia Cloud meet the very highest standards of web based technology.

Reporting has been vastly improved. It is now possible to....
  • Alter columns in a report.
  • Change the default sort order of the columns.
  • Filter the data in the report.
  • Set your own control breaks.
  • Highlight data in the reports.
  • Create your own computations within the report.
  • Create your own charts from data contained within the report.
  • Save your own report formats.
  • Export reports to Excel (via CSV files).
  • Create PDF output format.
Charts

It is now possible to have sophisticated charts of various types within Aspasia Cloud. This whole new graphical element of Aspasia makes certain data much easier to understand. There are now more opportunities to "drill down" from reports and charts to more reports and charts as necessary to increase the granularity of data.

Variable and Incremental Fees

Traditionally Estate and Lettings agents have conformed to a charging model using fees based on a percentage of the transaction or a fixed amount. Some believe that this model is becoming outdated and often reinforces the public impression that agents make money for very little effort and it is this aspect that can often lead to unpopularity. Moreover, traditional agents are facing increased threats from Internet based alternative models which, whilst not yet having a significant market share, do present a growing challenge to existing trading models.

Aspasia Cloud allows agents to retain the traditional model if they so wish but also allows for a much more flexible (and potentially equitable) model whereby agents can define their own levels of service, perhaps breaking down the whole into constituent parts, and therefore seemingly responding to public criticism and disquiet. This new charging flexibility will also allow agents the ability to automate (and charge separately for) services that they might otherwise lose to competitors with different trading models.

Expanded Customer and Prospect Login Facilities

New Aspasia will contain significant enhancements and scope to the ability for agency customers and prospects to interact via the Internet. This is common with the trend in most businesses and has traditionally been a weakly growing aspect of the residential property industry with the exception of the development of portals for creating applicant leads. Ultimately this will offer the opportunity for reduced overheads and increased profitability in keeping with developments in other industries and will potentially represent the largest area of growth within Aspasia in the years to come.

Agency Information Sharing Mechanism

Aspasia already has a little known central data sharing facility for it's agency customers. At present this is used solely for services such as the automatic importing of leads from Rightmove.

Potentially, with the Internet structure on which Aspasia is based, this has many opportunities for both Aspasia and our agency customers. Probably first (and perhaps most obvious) is the opportunity to create a cross agent referral mechanism built into the software itself. However, potentially there are many possible business interactions all designed to increase revenue streams for ourselves and our customers.
