Actions form a key part of Aspasia and these are naturally the fundamental part of the diary system which plays such a crucial role in the software. One type of action is a checklist item - which means that actions of this type can be aggregated together to form a checklist which in turn can be attached to, say, a change of status.
Aspasia has a mechanism whereby agency staff can be forced to record the individual steps leading to an event such as the letting of a property by means of such a checklist. Similar processes related to residential sales could be associated with something like the sales progression of all activities leading to a sale (exchange of contracts for example). There are many other examples but in essence they help to ensure that all staff conform to company requirements when taking part in their daily activities.
These steps are recorded in the database and the agency staff member involved has his/her name automatically recorded against the action and the date and time of confirmation. It is a summarised version of these checklists which can be made available to the customer if required.
